Windows Server 2003 Fix Corrupt Datastore.edb
Error Received: wuauclt (2096) The database page read from the file "C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\DataStore.edb" at offset 4882432 (0x00000000004a8000) for 4096 (0x00001000) bytes failed verification due to a page checksum mismatch. The expected checksum was 2374805580 (0x8d8ca84c) and the actual checksum was 2375854156 (0x8d9ca84c). The read operation will fail with error -1018 (0xfffffc06
Fix: 1) In command prompt, type: net stop WUAUSVC
2) In command prompt, type: net stop BITS
3) Rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.old
4) In command prompt, type: net start WUAUSVC
5) In command prompt, type: net start BITS
6) Reboot and Done!
