SAMSUNG LN-T3242H Firmware Update
I was looking for another firmware update recently to fix lag time when switching between inputs when I noticed a lot of people talking about a problem that their Samsung TV´s were experiencing, but Samsung took down the firmware update that corrected it.
Well, I used it on my TV a while back when it was still up and have a copy of it. So enjoy.

Download: LNT3242H Firmware
1) Download and extract zip archive above
2) Insert an empty USB drive and format it.(Take your data off before formatting, this will erase all existing data on the USB Flash Drive)
3) Run the file extracted earlier called: LNT3242H 2008 Firmware 20080526115828718_T-JASMINE.exe
4) It will then ask you where to extract, click browse and choose the newly formated USB Drive. Safely Remove the USB drive once complete.
5) Now follow Page #60 in the LN-T3242H User Manual

Note: I don't know why SAMSUNG took down the LN-T3242H Firmware Update but I have posted it here for you. Please do this AT YOUR OWN RISK!, worked fine for me. DeleteThe firmware link you have here is the same one that is available on the Samsung site. It did not help with the issues. I thought you had a firmware update that was later the 10/29/07..

The firmware I have posted is dated 05/26/2008, Samsung previously had NO firmwares for this model TV posted on their site. However they now have a firmware posted on their site dated 10/20/2011. Hope that helps.

ReplyDeleteI want learn that, I am hobbys MCU programmer my tv technician friend ask that:TDA955H (TV Signal processor and Teletext decoder) is it read from Master same MCU and write to empty TDA9555H? if is it possiable what is your advice hardware and software(I search a few tda9555H PQF80 case 80C51 familiy 8 bit processor) or program loading is it very hard?
